The Officers' Country Passageway

Moving forward from the OLYMPIA's Senior Officers' wardroom, the visitor passes into a passage or companionway. On the left was the junior officers' staterooms. On the right is the junior officers' wardroom. An identical passage exits on the opposite side of the wardroom. The light area just forward of the junior officers' wardroom is the engine room hatch. This area would have been off limits to the majority of the crew of the vessel. Their area basically began through the hatchway in the background of the image, below.
