The reverse side, which is used and bears a one cent stamp, reads "The Raven Flood Totem - The raven circle at the top represents heaven. The legend is that the raven at flood time flew up to heaven with children in his arms to save them. When the flood subsided, he descended (two figures from top) and lighted on a piece of Kelp, represented here by a frog." and "Made in U.S.A. "

Item 6006 - Totem Pole of Thlinget Chief Kian, Ketchikan, Alaska (above, right) - This postcard is labelled "15343. Totem Pole of Thlinget Chief Kian, Ketchikan, Alaska" on the front. The reverse side, which is used (postmark dated July 17, 1933, Prince Rupert, British Columbia) and bears a Canadian two cent stamp, reads "Totem Pole of the Thlinget Chief Kian - One of the most noted of the Totem Poles of Ketchikan is the famous Totem Pole of Chief Kian. It is surmounted by the fabled bird Kajuk. Below this bird is an eagle and below the eagle is the wolf." and "Made in U.S.A."

Item 6007 - Early View of Skagway, Alaska - This postcard is labelled "5625 - A Skagway Sunset" on the front. The reverse side, which is unused, reads "A Skagway Sunset. Tourists revel in the glories of Alaska Sunsets which can be seen nowhere to better advantage than in the heart of the mountain range, at Skagway." and "Made in U.S.A."
