The steamer CATALINA captured by the U.S.S. DETROIT.
She displaced 3491 tons and was 419 feet in length
The following ships were captured by U.S. Navy forces and sold as
"prizes" in Key West as of June 21, 1898 (When a vessel was captured,
the ship and its contents were sold at action and the funds divided
among the ships involved in the capture of the prize vessel. The Spanish
American War was the last conflict in which crews were offered "prize
money")
